Eye care for Vadodara

People come to us for a routine eye check, cloudy vision from cataract, diabetes, a watering eye, or a complex retina or orbit problem. Every visit starts with a careful examination and a clear talk about the next step.

Dr. Meera Shah leads retina care and is the hospital’s principal eye surgeon. Dr. Samir Serasiya treats eyelid, tear-duct, orbital and eye tumour problems. We also offer cataract surgery, eye tests for glasses, and care for glaucoma, children’s eyes and other everyday eye problems.

Our hospital

We are on the 1st floor of Ignite Complex, near Urmi Char Rasta. The hospital has its own operating room for cataract and retinal surgery, a green laser for retina treatment, a procedure room and a patient room for rest after treatment.

Beyond the clinic

Both eye surgeons have taken part in eye camps throughout their careers: cataract and general eye-check camps, school eye screening and diabetic retina screening. Dr. Meera has also operated on patients found at outreach camps.

In 2021, Dr. Samir was named to SSG Hospital’s multidisciplinary task force for patients with mucormycosis in Vadodara. Read the news reports.
